In a major overhaul, Stellar Mercenaries has unveiled its largest expansion yet titled The Jupiter Expansion. This upgrade significantly increases playable content by almost 100%, with the addition of new planets, factions, quests, spaceships, and equipment. With this release, we welcome two new hostile parties – the Jovian Empire and the Pirate Council – who are locked in a power struggle over Jupiter and its satellites.
As a thrilled gamer, I’m super excited about the new update! It introduces an incredible 50 fresh missions, packed with objectives that range from escort duties, pirate-fighting, protecting trains, and hyperspace pursuits. Six brand-new ships are also joining the fleet, each unique in their abilities and configurations. The Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightening, and Skybreaker all cater to different playstyles, ensuring a perfect fit for various gaming scenarios.
Furthermore, the fighting complexity increases with the addition of six novel weapons such as the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam. To bolster defense, Tier 4 shields and armors are now available, while new special skills like Drones, Point Defense, Critical Strike, and Missile Fire Rate offer exciting tactical possibilities.
Additionally, the intensity of confrontations has significantly increased due to the inclusion of Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk-class mercenaries. These formidable opponents adapt along with you. The update also brings about dynamic environmental perils, such as asteroid fields, surprise attacks by elite enemies, and a new menace, the Pacifier, which poses a threat in the vastness of space.

In addition to the primary storyline, an innovative side quest system adds unexpected elements to gameplay, while 14 fresh sci-fi music tracks enhance immersion.
