‘Milk & Serial’ Filmmaker Curry Barker Signs with UTA (Exclusive)

Rising filmmaker and sketch comedian Curry Barker has signed with UTA.

It quickly gained traction on YouTube, racking up an impressive 1.6 million views and catching the attention of almost every major horror studio and producer out there. A resident of Mobile, Alabama co-owns the sketch comedy channel That’s a Bad Idea, alongside creative partner Cooper Tomlinson. This channel draws inspiration from shows like I Think You Should Leave and Key & Peele, blending humor with horror. That’s a Bad Idea has accumulated over 700 million views across various platforms and boasts 1.7 million TikTok followers, 827,000 YouTube subscribers, and 681,000 Instagram followers.

As a skilled horror director, Clive Barker is currently working on an extended feature adaptation of his gripping short film, “The Chair,” which has garnered over 7 million views on YouTube. Meanwhile, as an actor, he has made appearances in season three of the popular series “Dave,” the latest season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and the show “B-Side for Taylor.

Barker is also reped by Underground and Yorn Levine.
