In the upcoming episode of CBS’ TV schedule in 2025, the character OA will find himself in a precarious situation in his personal life, not unlike the risks FBI agents often face on their job. This nail-biting episode is set to air on March 11th. During this adventure as a civilian, OA and Gemma attempt to travel by train together, but their journey takes an unexpected turn due to a hijacking. In an interview with TopMob, Zeeko Zaki discussed the unique challenges for OA in this storyline and how they disrupt his usual composure.
Titled “Hitched,” the upcoming episode seems to imply some turmoil on the train tracks instead of any wedding events. This situation might test the bond between OA and Gemma significantly. The sneak peek for the next FBI episode (streaming the following day with a Paramount+ subscription) hints that the hijackers won’t initially be aware that he is an agent, but it’s likely this secret won’t remain hidden for long.
Luckily, I was able to catch up with the long-time FBI star regarding the upcoming episode, during which it is apparent that OA will be severed from his partnership with Maggie and the rest of the team. Zeeko Zaki shared some insights into what we can anticipate as OA’s usual backup remains absent and his girlfriend present:
1. The conversation will focus on the upcoming episode, in which it is clear that OA’s professional relationship with Maggie and the team takes a turn for the worse.
2. Zeeko Zaki previews what to expect from this episode, emphasizing that OA’s regular partner won’t be around, while his girlfriend will play a significant role.
Despite operating independently in a highly independent manner, he can always count on the backing of his team, particularly during instances like when Gemma is within reach, he understands he has the FBI at his disposal. This includes Maggie, Scola, and Jubal, all of whom are ready to support him. Although he may seem alone in this moment, there’s always an assurance that someone else will step up to help and remind him of the unwavering support system that exists within the FBI and our team, demonstrating the unity and strength of our organization.
Over time, teamwork has been one of the FBI’s key strengths, allowing the show to extend for two more seasons beyond Season 7, following a significant renewal last year. Regrettably, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International didn’t receive the same fortunate outcome. With seven seasons under its belt, viewers have had ample opportunities to witness OA maintaining his composure as an agent; however, it remains to be seen if this will change when he transitions from being an agent to a civilian on a train, as shared by Zaki.
During this aircraft hijacking predicament, OA possesses an abundance of training and expertise in such scenarios, initially remaining unfazed. He swiftly slips into his working routine, adopting a military mindset. However, when his romantic partner becomes ensnared in the crisis, it significantly alters the situation, enabling us to witness a different degree of anxiety and dread from him, which adds an exhilarating dimension to the performance.
As a film enthusiast, it’s no secret that Gemma’s involvement in the latest episode could send shockwaves through OA’s world. Caught in the eye of the storm, she’ll undoubtedly stir things up. Despite his reputation for maintaining composure, the ghosts of his past can still rattle him. And with a lady he deeply cares for, who lacks FBI training, finding herself in danger, fear is an emotion he may struggle to suppress.
Viewers can undoubtedly tune in to find out if concerns about Gemma’s safety are justified in the show “Hitched.” However, one thing is clear: the episode promises to present actress Comfort Clinton in an unprecedented light. Zeeko Zaki spoke highly of his co-star and was excited for the unique scenes they would share together, unlike any previously seen between OA and Gemma.
It was incredibly enjoyable to witness her take on a more substantial role in the episode. Collaborating with her and the energy she brought was fantastic, and our real-life rapport translated beautifully onto the screen. Seeing her tackle something more profound was delightful, and it made the experience all the more fun.
Despite the actors finding the experience “extremely enjoyable,” the trailer suggests that OA and Gemma may not have a pleasant episode ahead. Regardless, I can’t help but feel concerned about their relationship’s future. Here’s some early footage for you to see:
Don’t miss out! Tune into CBS on March 11, Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time for the upcoming “Hitched” episode of FBI. This will be followed by FBI: International featuring the Fly Team mole at 9 p.m. ET and FBI: Most Wanted with Hana in a hostage crisis at 10 p.m. ET. You can catch up on all these shows’ current seasons on Paramount+. It’s also worth noting that there might be another spinoff of FBI coming up this fall, as both FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International have been cancelled.
