Be Happy’s Abhishek Bachchan reveals how daughter Aaradhya gives him a reality check; says he did the same with dad Amitabh Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan is now preparing for the launch of his forthcoming movie titled “Be Happy,” which features child artist Inaayat as his co-star. In this upcoming project, he will portray a father’s role once more, and in light of his relationship with his daughter Aaradhya, he recently expressed that she helps him maintain peace at home.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share my interpretation of a recent movie trailer titled “Be Happy.” In this film, Abhishek Bachchan’s on-screen character seems unappealing to his daughter’s character. When asked if this reflects their real-life relationship with Aaradhya Bachchan, the actor clarified that he has a 13-year-old daughter, and one can only speculate about their bond.

He expressed that there’s something truly delightful about being a parent at home, regardless of your occupation or fame. It’s not a harsh reminder of reality, but rather a pleasant experience, as the affection stems from an authentic and sincere place, not based on one’s professional achievements.

As reported, the Bachchan family has maintained this tradition for generations. To illustrate, I too followed suit with my father, who was always referred to as dad within our home, rather than Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He was recognized as such outside our home, which helped him remain grounded, according to his own words.

The upcoming movie “Be Happy” tells the tale of a father, initially unwilling, who learns to dance in order to realize his daughter’s aspirations. Contrary to this, Junior Bachchan shares that he has never faced a real-life scenario where he was required to step out of his comfort zone like this. In other words, he never found himself thinking, ‘this is something I’m not accustomed to, but I need to do it for my child’.

In simpler terms, Abhishek shared that he heavily depended on the script to portray his character and his relationship with his on-screen daughter accurately. He believes that emotions are universal, but it’s essential to grasp a character’s environment and mindset, which a well-written script assists in achieving.

Under the direction of Remo D’ Souza, the movie titled “Be Happy” stars Nora Fatehi, Nassar, and Inayat Verma in prominent roles. Additionally, Johnny Lever and Harleen Sethi deliver supporting performances. Produced by Lizelle Remo D’Souza under Remo D’Souza Entertainment, this film will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting March 14, 2025.
