Abhishek Bachchan is preparing for his upcoming movie “Be Happy,” in which he takes on the character of a single parent. His co-star, Inayat Verma, recently discussed their collaboration, labeling him as both “mature” and “childish.” Impressed by her performance, Abhishek reciprocated by calling Inayat a “dedicated actress.
In an interview with ETimes, Inayat spoke candidly about her collaboration with Junior Bachchan in Be Happy. She expressed that Abhishek is both mature and playful at once; it’s a compliment! Looking back on set moments, she admitted to being anxious over a dance sequence, but Abhishek’s encouragement proved to be incredibly helpful.
Rather than pressuring her to perform, he chose to help her unwind. As she relaxed for around 20-30 minutes, they practiced a few times. Afterward, the shot was taken, she expressed gratitude for his compassionate and playful demeanor.
Abhishek additionally discussed his partnership with Inayat Verma, expressing admiration for her professionalism and commitment. Looking back on their work together, he acknowledged that working with children can sometimes carry certain assumptions, and they may require additional support or understanding. Yet, Inayat successfully challenged these preconceived ideas.
Reflecting on their initial collaboration, Abhishek Bachchan shared how she left an impact on him by not only memorizing her own lines but also his! He described her as “not a novice—she’s just small in stature.” He deemed her a fully-fledged actress and one of the most professional actors he has ever collaborated with. On several occasions, Abhishek found himself struggling with his lines, and she would remind him during filming, saying, “Abhishek bhaiya, your dialogue is here.” He praised her as a rare talent, admiring her skill, commitment, and effortless mastery of entire scenes.
In the upcoming movie “Be Happy”, Abhishek will be working with young actor Inayat again. They last collaborated in the 2020 film “Ludo”. This moving drama is scheduled to debut on Prime Video on March 14. Besides them, Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi are also part of this exciting cast.
