After a painstaking wait, Playboi Carti‘s I AM MUSIC officially has a release date.
The artist personally revealed on Instagram that his long-awaited project will drop this coming Friday, March 14th. Over recent months, Carti has been busy teasing the upcoming album – he gave fans a sneak peek at Rolling Loud Miami back in December, and since then, he’s been putting up billboards to advertise his work. Just this week, he also confirmed that the project has already been completed.
The upcoming release, referred to as “I AM MUSIC,” is anticipated to feature no collaborations from other artists but could include production work by Ye (formerly Kanye West), Travis Scott, Mike Dean, Metro Boomin, and others.
This will be Carti’s first album since Whole Lotta Red in 2020, which topped the charts.
