However, what I am truly eager to witness on the big screen is Ryan Coogler‘s venture into horror with the vampire film “Sinners“. To make matters even more thrilling, director Spike Lee has caught a glimpse of it and he has nothing but glowing remarks to share.
While everyone else has to wait for Sinners to premiere in April, Spike Lee was really lucky that his pal Ryan Coogler invited him to see his upcoming movie recently at IMAX. By the time the end credits rolled, the Crooklyn filmmaker took to Instagram to give his A+ review, and now I want to move Sinners to the top of my watchlist:
Recently, I had an outstanding cinema experience that I haven’t felt in years. My brother, Ryan Coogler, invited me to watch his latest film, “Sinners,” in IMAX. His storytelling skills are elevated to a whole new level, and his artistic prowess is simply remarkable. To add to it, Michael B. Jordan delivered an exceptional performance that left me impressed. The cinematography, production design, costume design, original score, songs, visual effects – everything about this film is amazing! What more could one ask for?
Man, I’m really looking forward to watching Sinners now that Spike Lee has shared his praise for its outstanding qualities! As a renowned American filmmaker, Lee certainly has a keen eye for what makes a movie truly great. After all, he’s the one behind timeless classics like Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, Da 5 Bloods, and many others that continue to resonate today. The energy was electric! I haven’t experienced this level of excitement in a movie theater in ages. My brother Ryan truly tapped into our ancestors’ spirits with this film.
