Unlock the Secrets to Completing Yackers ‘n’ Fash in KCD2!

In the Kuttenberg region, one of the side quests is called “Yackers ‘n’ Fash” for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. If players are having trouble locating St. Anthony’s standard or finding the Miner’s Guild, they can rest assured that all necessary information will be provided here to help them on their quest.

As a gamer venturing through Kuttenberg, here’s a comprehensive walkthrough that will lead you straight to the Saints’ den, help you finish the sub-quest for Foreman Vlach, and complete the Tragedy in Denmark Task:

1. Navigate your way around Kuttenberg until you reach the eastern part of the city.
2. Look for a small alleyway near the city gates. It’s easy to miss, but if you keep an eye out for a narrow path between two buildings, you’ll find it.
3. Follow this alleyway, and you’ll eventually come across a hidden courtyard. The Saints’ den is located in this secret area.
4. Once inside the den, speak with Foreman Vlach to initiate the sub-quest. Complete the tasks he assigns to you.
5. After completing the tasks, return to Foreman Vlach and report your success. He will reward you for a job well done.
6. With that, you’ve completed the Tragedy in Denmark Task and moved one step closer to uncovering the secrets of Kuttenberg.

How To Start Yackers ‘n’ Fash In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To initiate Yackers ‘n’ Fash, traverse the Mining District of Kuttenberg (located on the south-eastern side) and search for Foreman Vlach. You can find him wandering between the tavern and the Miner’s District from 11 AM to 2 PM daily.

As an enthusiastic player, I’ve found a handy trick for locating Foreman Vlach more efficiently: Engage in conversations with the Innkeepers in Kuttenberg. Eventually, they might offer a helpful hint that leads me to them. This special NPC, Foreman Vlach, will then be indicated on my map by a small star symbol, making him easily identifiable as a Quest-giver.

After conversing with Vlach, he will task Henry with retrieving a valuable banner, which was stolen from their miners’ guild by a gang called The Saints. To accomplish this mission, players must penetrate the lair of these brutal thieves and interact with their leader, Joerg Preng.

Accessing this restricted zone won’t be a walk in the park. Players possess several ‘safe routes’, like navigating the city of Kuttenberg’s underground tunnels connecting various points. However, these passages could prove challenging, and one might easily get lost amidst this intricate underworld labyrinth filled with doors locked at varying difficulties, from Hard to Very Hard. Therefore, let’s opt for the simplest approach: The Henry way.

How To Get Into The Saints’ Den

During daytime, locate the tavern situated above the Saints’ Den (it’s marked on your map). Inside this tavern, you’ll find the Innkeeper casually leaning against one of the columns in the main dining area. As a cunning player, you can attempt to secretly lift items from him – in this case, the keys to the cellar.

Be cautious of the woman serving at the bar who’s sitting in the hallway; she might notice if players move quietly near her while keeping a low profile. On the other hand, have Henry pay attention to the door that’s shut, leading to the cellar. Use the keys you snatched from the Innkeeper to unlock it.

Head down to the lower level, then take a right to discover a modest room where three somewhat unfriendly individuals seem engrossed in a heated conversation about a dice game that didn’t go their way. Be aware that Henry’s arrival might not be welcomed, so tread carefully to avoid any trouble. A careless word or overlooked move could spark a fight, and since it’s a private spot (although it’s a known hideout for thieves), causing a ruckus could damage your reputation.

The individual you need to approach goes by Foreman Joerg Preng. He’s quite notable due to his fiery temperament and distinctive red hat. Have a conversation with him, and try to convince him that Henry isn’t there to assist Foreman Vlach. Overcoming the Speech check (Difficult) will lead him to believe that Henry has a personal grudge against Vlach. In return for some cash, he might share information about the whereabouts of the St. Anthony standard.

Players can alternatively succeed in a Speech check to persuade him that he’s already been paid enough money by the individual they are searching for next, whom we know as Merchant Hensel. To locate him, they must journey northward from Danemark, which lies southwest of Kuttenberg and is situated close to the map’s edge.

If players provoke the Saints into aggression, it’s wiser to engage in hand-to-hand combat instead of resorting to lethal weapons, as any killing would still be regarded as illegal. Since they wield bludgeons, focus on mastering brawling skills and learn disarming techniques from the Grandmaster in Trosky.

How To Find Merchant Hensel In KCD2

Adventurers should make their way to Denmark to locate Hensel and the artifact, but be warned as the journey may be treacherous with bandits and deserters along the route. The most straightforward path would first lead you to Bylany, from where you should head southeast. At a junction where paths diverge, players might notice a bloodied sack and cart tracks near the area.

The hunt for Hensel commences here, and players should trace the hints left behind until they locate him and the fate of the missing artifact. Simply follow the trail until Henry spots footprints veering off the path. At that point, you’ll discover an abandoned wagon, with wolves feeding on poor Hensel, who is no longer in possession of the item.

Players have realized by now that the situation has become intricate, and to locate the norm, they must pursue the bandits who attacked the caravan. Fortunately for them, they don’t need to travel far from where they encounter Hensel, and upon nearing the cliff edge, Henry will spot a mill situated along the riverbank.

The destination you should go to next is crucial for the players, and if they move swiftly, they can accomplish a mission titled “Tragedy in Denmark.” This task involves eradicating bandits and locating survivors from a massacre that took place there. Once they’ve rescued the hostages from captivity, they will also gain access to “the Miller” as a master trainer for skills such as Thievery and Stealth, which prove quite beneficial in their journey.

As an enthusiastic player, I suggest you head towards the north building, which is situated below the staircase in our game world. That’s where you’ll come across the coveted St. Anthony standard! Be on the lookout for a chest within this structure. If you’ve previously taken down some bandits, you might find the keys to unlock this chest among your loot. Inside, you’ll discover not only the Quest item (in the form of a Poleaxe) but also some additional treasures waiting to be claimed!

How To Complete Yackers ‘n’ Fash In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Now, players should have the St. Anthony standard ready. Then, they must quickly teleport to Kuttenberg and stay put until the Vlach begins his daily stroll around the Market. Once Henry manages to spot him, they can hand over the standard, wrapping up this lengthy and challenging quest.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players have the option to retain the Standard as it functions like a Polearm, allowing them to fight off bandits with it. However, the Standard itself lacks unique attributes and deals less damage compared to a practice sword, so it’s generally not recommended. If players prefer a more challenging, pilgrimage-like experience, acting as zealous religious knights could be an option. The appeal of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 lies in its freedom, allowing players to make their own choices. As for the Standard, remember to return it once Henry has finished his medieval escapades, as the rewards for this quest are worth the effort.

As a reward for his efforts, Vlach will give Henry 250 times the amount of Groschen, in addition to gaining experience in Theft, Scholarship, and Craftsmanship, enough to boost these skills significantly. To add to that, Vlach invites Henry to join him and his companions for a drink, an occasion perfect for networking, playing dice games, and maybe even accepting another side mission.
