Ever since Pokemon was first introduced, fans have been eagerly waiting to explore its universe, and now they’ll have the chance to help create it as well! Pokemon Go and LEGO are joining forces to bring “world-building” to a whole new dimension. This collaboration invites both trainers and builders to immerse themselves in countless creative opportunities.
Slated for an early next year debut, this launch initiates a fresh, extended collaboration between the two colossal corporations. Earlier, the construction kits based on Pokémon were solely manufactured by Mattel, who has held the licensing rights for nearly twenty years.
LEGO’s partnership initiatives continue unabated, as demonstrated by the latest announcements. These collaborative efforts follow in the footsteps of similar experiential ventures undertaken by LEGO. For instance, last month they revealed plans for a series of pop-up events and race experiences tied to Formula 1’s 75th anniversary season. These in-person events will be accompanied by a comprehensive product line dedicated to Formula 1, showcasing all ten teams. Additionally, recent collaborations have seen the launch of a special edition for “MAR10” Day and an eagerly awaited One Piece partnership, which represents LEGO’s first venture into anime.
Information about which Pokémon figures and collections are coming up hasn’t been disclosed just yet, but rest assured they will be out on store shelves by the year 2026. Keep an eye on TopMob for further announcements in the meantime.
