Madhuri Dixit was sobbing after filming molestation scene in Prem Pratigyaa, reveals co-star Ranjeet: ‘She was panicking’

In a recent interview, Ranjeet revealed that Madhuri Dixit shed tears following the filming of a powerful molestation scene together in Prem Pratigyaa.

In a chat with Vickey Lalwani during his YouTube program, Ranjeet shared memories of Madhuri Dixit’s initial apprehension while filming an intense scene in Prem Pratigyaa. At that point, she was still relatively fresh to the industry, and her characterization of a menacing villain by Ranjeet had already left a lasting impact on her.

In a nutshell, she learned about his acting parts and became apprehensive to perform alongside him, as the scene they were filming was an intense attack sequence on a cart, skillfully directed by Veeru Devgn. However, Ranjeet, who was preoccupied with finishing up promptly due to another obligation, didn’t realize Madhuri’s discomfort until later on.

Later on, Ranjeet mentioned that Madhuri Dixit wept upon finishing the scene due to how authentic the filming felt, despite no physical interaction taking place. Behind-the-scenes team members comforted her, explaining that his on-screen demeanor was quite different from the gentle person he truly was. It wasn’t until after shooting that she understood he wasn’t as intimidating as she had thought.

The actor reminisced, “I noticed she was weeping. Later, they comforted her by saying, ‘I was a good man.’ In the end, she decided to take the shot. During that time, I always worked harmoniously with my fellow actors. After the scene was finished, there was applause. She continued crying.

Worried, the producer, along with others, went to check on her. She then revealed that she had not even noticed the flawless filming of the scene, as it appeared as if he hadn’t touched her at all.

In simpler terms, Ranjeet mentioned that during filming an intense scene, he skillfully moved the handcart to achieve the desired result without ever coming into contact with Madhuri Dixit. Later on, Madhuri publicly recognized this incident on a TV show, praising him for pulling off the scene flawlessly without any physical interaction.
