Timelie lets you take on a time-bending complex and fight evil robots, oh and there’s a cat

  • Timelie is out now in early access on Google Play
  • It features a young girl and her cat trying to evade evil robots in a mysterious facility
  • Use time rewinding powers to solve puzzles and avoid a gruesome death

If you’re a puzzle enthusiast and find yourself at a loss for fresh challenges as the weekend approaches, you might be disappointed since our latest releases are all used up if you’re one of those exceptionally smart individuals who’s already tackled all our earlier suggestions. However, Android users can rejoice, as Snapbreak has just launched Timelie in early access on Google Play with their newest release!

In Timelie, the basic gameplay revolves around navigating an empty facility, carefully dodging robots. However, what makes it unique is the challenge of figuring out the best path through various situations by manipulating time with a special ability.

In this game, your feline friend serves both as a charming indie element and a challenging puzzle piece. You use your cat to lure away robots in an engaging adventure. As is common with games of this genre, the story and mystery are primarily conveyed through non-verbal means. You play as a young girl who has lost her memory, trying to find her way around the strange, intricate environment, relying on your cat for guidance along the way.

A Timelie arrival

In a more skeptical mood, one might mock the notion of this sweet, quaint tale about a young girl and her cat overcoming mechanical evils. Yet, even in my more hardened state, I wouldn’t dismiss it as unappealing, and I’m certain that many will find this story genuinely captivating and sincere.

Regardless of the source, Timelie is being published by Snapbreak and was initially developed by Urnique Studio. Frankly, I can’t recall any disappointing releases from Snapbreak, so given its intriguing gameplay, it’s plausible that Timelie could be worth investigating.

Instead, why not pair this recent launch with a side of some popular new mobile games from our top five picks for this week, as well?
