Kesari: Chapter 2: Akshay Kumar gives mic-drop response defending his ‘F*ck you’ remark in teaser; ‘Goli bhi maar di hoti…’

The debut trailer for the movie “Kesari: Chapter 2” featuring Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and R. Madhavan was unveiled at a special gathering that included the entire cast and crew of the production. In a question-and-answer session with media personnel, Kumar left quite an impression by his clever use of a metaphorical “mic drop” moment when asked about incorporating the F-word in the promo of the upcoming historical drama film.

Today, on April 3rd, following the trailer release, Akshay Kumar responded to questions about the use of the F-word in the teaser and justified his actions. He emphasized that for him, the term “slave” was more offensive. In the scenario where his character was firing a gun at them, he believed it wouldn’t have been considered as significant an issue.

He expressed, “Indeed, I employed that term, isn’t it amazing that you perceived it? However, considering the fact that the expression ‘you are still a slave’ didn’t seem like a strong insult to you, I believe there could be no greater offense.

Kumar stated, “I would have found it more acceptable if you mentioned ‘slave’ instead of the offensive language you used earlier. To me, at that moment, even if they had shot him, it wouldn’t have seemed significant.” This statement left everyone in awe and was met with a thunderous applause.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “I’m excited to share that Kesari: Chapter 2, a production under the visionary guidance of Karan Singh Tyagi, delves into the compelling narrative of C. Sankaran Nair, a tenacious lawyer who bravely challenged the British Empire during India’s pre-independence era. In this captivating tale, we see R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday brilliantly portray Neville McKinley and Dilreet Gill, respectively.

Under the direction of Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, and Adar Poonawalla, the forthcoming historical drama will hit the screens on April 18, 2025, towards the end of this month.
