In 2022, one of the less pleasant stories we had to report was about Studio Onoma, also known as Square Enix Montreal, and the removal of several popular titles from various platforms. Games such as Deus Ex Go, Lara Croft Go, Hitman Sniper, and others were taken down following Embracer Group’s acquisition of the company.

Contrary to earlier expectations, items from their catalog, along with Tomb Raider Reloaded and Lara Croft: Relic Run (previously removed), are now back on mobile platforms.

This development takes an unexpected positive twist and brings a delightful reappearance. The catalog appears to be managed by Deca Games, a German company that falls under Embracer Group, who seem keen on maintaining popular titles, like Star Trek Online, previously handled by Cryptic Studios.
