It’s being widely discussed that Bollywood star Tiger Shroff has been in the spotlight due to rumors of a death threat against him. Yet, a more recent report has clarified that these reports were untrue. The individual responsible for spreading this false information has now been apprehended by the authorities.
According to an article in Free Press Journal, Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh, who hails from Punjab, provided misleading details to the Mumbai Police control room regarding a supposed death threat against Tiger Shroff. On Monday (April 21), he made a call to the Mumbai Police control room and claimed that certain individuals from a security firm were plotting to harm the actor.
The man claimed moreover that a sum of 2 lakh rupees was given for the purpose of assassinating the actor. He also stated that he was offered a weapon and a contract worth the same amount to carry out the murder. Upon being informed, the Mumbai Police swiftly mobilized security measures. Yet, it wasn’t long before they uncovered that the details he had shared were fabricated.
According to the same source, Nimit Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, stated that the police had submitted a First Information Report (FIR) on Monday. They have since arrested the suspect. It turns out the entire incident was fabricated, as the story was proven false upon investigation. The suspect will be brought in by the team.
Currently, authorities in Khar have filed a complaint against Manish on charges of disseminating false information. This case has been filed under three specific sections: 212 (providing incorrect information), 217 (deliberately providing false information with the intention to mislead a public official, leading to harming another individual), and 353(2) (statements that could potentially cause public disturbance or unrest).
Meanwhile, further investigation in the Tiger Shroff’s false death threat case is underway.
In terms of his upcoming roles, Tiger Shroff will appear in Baaghi 4. This film will see him working alongside Sanjay Dutt. The fourth installment is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and helmed by A Harsha, under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Set to release in cinemas on September 5, 2025, Baaghi 4 promises an exciting experience for moviegoers.
