Monster Hunter Wilds Blossomdance Event Adds New Armor Sets, More Customization

The festive event “Blossomdance” from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has gone live, adorning the Grand Hub with beautiful cherry blossoms and offering brand-new armor sets and cosmetic items for players to acquire.

During the period from April 22nd to May 6th, Capcom has announced that the majority of the game’s earlier event quests will be re-released, along with two brand new ones.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about these new quests! The Daughters of Carabosse quest has me chasing down two Lala Barinas, and the rewards are fantastic – I’ll get materials to create the stunning Blossom armor and some beautiful Palico equipment inspired by butterflies.

On the other hand, That Won’t Work On Me is a challenging hunt for a Tempered Xu Wu. Completing this quest will earn me materials to fashion two unique pairs of glasses and an eyepatch. Once crafted, these spectacles can be worn by Alma for a fresh new look (assuming I’ve completed the prerequisite quest for glasses customization).

Once the event ends, players can secure this outfit permanently through a separate purchase or by grabbing the Blossomdance DLC pack. This pack not only includes the coveted kimono but also additional cosmetics and gestures to further personalize my gaming experience.

During this event, logging in daily will provide you with unique rewards. These rewards are special tickets that can be utilized to create the complimentary Sakuratide and Papier-mache Palico armor sets when crafted. Wearing the Sakuratide armor during specific quests during the event will even yield additional reward tickets. Furthermore, the normal login bonuses during the event will see a boost.

Participants who log in during the event will receive exclusive festival-themed Secret decorations, temporary camp decorations, and custom gestures, as well as special nameplates, backgrounds, poses, and titles for their Hunter Profile. These unique items are only available to those attending the event.

Beyond the recent facelift given to the Grand Hub in the game’s initial update, there are additional cosmetics available. In the course of this event, special meals can be obtained at the Grand Hub through vouchers received as daily login bonuses.

The Blossomdance gathering takes place following the initial significant update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which was Title Update 1. This update introduced a fresh beast, Mizutsune, as well as the High-Rank tale boss Zoa Shia’s version of the game.

In recent developments, Capcom has made it known they are taking action against cheaters in Monster Hunter Wilds, urging players not to participate in quests offering altered rewards. Engaging in such activities may lead to corrupted save files or consequences from Capcom’s anti-cheat system. The company also mentioned plans to roll out stronger anti-cheat mechanisms in upcoming updates, aimed at identifying and penalizing those who manipulate the game’s rewards for personal advantage.
