EXCLUSIVE: Saif Ali Khan should have invested in better security services, claims Alia Bhatt’s half-brother Rahul Bhatt: ‘When your profile is such large…’

The violent stabbing incident against Saif Ali Khan not only sent tremors through his loved ones and peers but also sparked concerns about safety and protection within the Bollywood community. In an exclusive interview with TopMob’s Hindi Rush, Alia Bhatt’s sibling Rahul Bhatt admitted that if he were as famous as the Jewel Thief star, he would have opted for a more reliable security firm.

When asked if he believes the incident involving Saif Ali Khan could have been prevented, Rahul Bhatt responded that he’s not fully versed in the details of the case, but he has the feeling it might have been avoided with stronger security measures in place. He also mentioned hypothetically that if he had the necessary resources, he would have opted to invest in a more secure company for the safety of his children.

Mahesh Bhatt’s son expressed that numerous reliable and vigilant companies offer 24/7 surveillance and emergency assistance. However, he emphasized his worries due to the presence of children in this scenario. “One can never know where they might end up, but when there are so many people involved, especially with such a prominent status, it’s an obligation one must fulfill.

Rahul Bhatt clarified, “Paparazzi are present, your home is well-known, fires could break out. I’m not sure, but it seems to me that I might have done it. As for what exactly has transpired, I’m not entirely certain. He has certainly taken steps to ensure his safety now, though. However, security should be proactive, not just a response after something happens.” He also added, “I haven’t closely followed the case, and it’s not my place to offer an opinion. But I believe he is focusing on his security measures. Security ought to be about prevention rather than intensification following an event.
