You Won’t Believe Who Showed Up to Jacquemus’ Wild L.A. Bash!

Jacquemus was the toast of West Hollywood on Thursday night.

Jacquemus, led by Simon Porte Jacquemus, and his fashion label brought a touch of the Riviera to the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard, marking the second U.S. location for the brand following last year’s Soho opening. The venue at 8804 Melrose, previously James Perse’s space, was adorned with a real banana truck out front, as well as piles of actual bananas, bouquets of flowers, lemons, and other fresh market goods. To top it all off, the new location served both champagne and banana ice cream.

As a fan, I found myself amidst a vibrant gathering of L.A.’s fashion elite, mingling with actors, social media influencers, and musicians. Many attendees were carrying either floral bouquets or bananas, adding an unexpected charm to the event. The storefront market is staying open through Sunday in honor of the grand opening, with lucky guests receiving surprise gifts at random. Notable figures on the scene included Leighton Meester, Noah Beck, Lori Harvey, Laura Harrier, Cole Sprouse, Dree Hemingway, Jon Gries, Anwar Hadid, Giveon, Rickey Thompson, Elsa Hosk, Amine, Nicholas Chavez, Reign Judge, Vinnie Hacker, Derek Blasberg, Thom Bettridge, Toby Wallace, Veneda, and many more.
