Five Nights at Freddy’s 3

Excitement is mounting for the sequel to Emma Tammi’s terrifying hit of 2023, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. However, the thrills and chills aren’t going to end there. The FNaF film series, inspired by Scott Cawthon’s famous video game franchise, is set to carry on beyond the second film, with as many as three films in the pipeline so far. It might not be too long before Freddy Fazbear and his pals return to the big screen again. Interestingly, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 has recently received an unexpected filming update ahead of the next movie hitting cinemas this year.

Based on information from ComicBook.com, industry insider Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK) has posted an update on Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 through his Patreon account. He divulged plans for the third installment, which hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, suggesting that filming for the movie will commence towards the end of 2025. It’s worth noting that the sequel to the 2023 horror video game adaptation is still playing in theaters. This timeline is earlier than previously anticipated, as it was speculated that production would start in spring or summer 2026, with a potential release date in 2027.
