Instead, he expressed feeling confident at the age of 52, a sentiment that brings him nothing but happiness.

Karan Johar openly admitted that he’s faced constant challenges with maintaining a healthy weight throughout his life. He’s tirelessly experimented with various diet plans, exercising regimens, and practically every weight-loss strategy conceivable, hoping to find a solution for this persistent problem.

Later on, Johar disclosed that he’d learned about his thyroid problems and various other health complications only from his recent blood tests. He admitted that this revelation served as a pivotal moment for him in terms of his fitness journey, as it prompted him to concentrate on dealing with and rectifying these health-related matters.

In response to continuous speculations about his association with well-known weight loss medications such as Mounjaro and Ozempic, Karan made a firm statement. “I’m often asked, ‘Are you using Mounjaro? Are you using Ozempic?’ I’ve had enough of these remarks. People aren’t aware of my reality. You aren’t either.

Talking about his focus on wellness, Karan Johar stated that he’s never felt as healthy as he does now. He admitted that he’s never felt lighter, happier, or more self-assured in his own body, and this recent boost in wellness brings him tremendous happiness.

Karan Johar openly talked about his long-standing battle with self-image concerns, disclosing that, at 52 years old, he has finally developed a sense of self-assurance. He confessed to suffering from body dysmorphic disorder, a condition characterized by feelings of embarrassment towards one’s own body and a discomfort when not clothed. He revealed that this struggle persists for him even today, admitting that he frequently finds it difficult to face his reflection in the mirror.

Karan Johar, fresh from backing Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2, is now joining forces with Kartik Aaryan for a romantic comedy named Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, slated for release in 2026. Moreover, he has disclosed plans for a new venture starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, titled Chand Mera Dil, as well as another project with Kartik called Naagzilla.
