Hello there! I wanted to take a moment to express my congratulations on winning the Daily Front Row’s Men’s Stylist of the Year award last week. It was great to see you at the gala. This seems like an ideal opportunity to discuss the upcoming Met Gala with its theme “Tailored for You”. I’m curious, how are things going for you just hours before the Met?

Micah McDonald Thanks a bunch! It was truly heartwarming to receive this fantastic award, considering we once dreamt about being in these very places. We adore Da’Vine and are incredibly grateful for her for bestowing it upon us. Regarding the Met, we’re eagerly awaiting the day we’ve been meticulously planning and striving towards for a couple of months.

Could you give me some details about your collaboration with the advanced Ray-Ban Meta glasses? What made you decide to pursue this project, even though you were busy with styling tasks?

WAYMAN BANNERMAN It seemed logical given how hectic the day is expected to be. At an event such as the Met, we’re constantly darting from one room to another, making sure our clients have all they require. Therefore, using Ray-Ban Meta glasses proves useful since it allows us to operate hands-free. We’re jotting down notes and communicating with our large team, all while making final tweaks during the bustle.

How do you use the Ray-Ban Meta glasses to your benefit while styling for this year’s Met Gala?

BANNERMAN These glasses are useful for maintaining communication and keeping things tidy. We prefer to keep in touch with our extended team through hands-free calls while documenting our design process and significant moments using the camera or our Meta AI assistant.

What’s your favorite feature?

MCDONALD Our top pick among the features is undeniably the camera. It’s incredibly convenient for us to snap photos without using our hands, which we can review later or instantly post on social media.
