I’ve never had the chance to collaborate with Robin Williams personally; instead, my interaction was limited to working alongside Mrs. Doubtfire. On my first day on set in San Francisco, they asked if I wanted to meet him. Of course, I agreed. In the makeup trailer, there he was in a Hawaiian shirt, his hairy arms and legs visible, but with the face of Mrs. Doubtfire. He playfully said, “Oh, Pierce, you’re so handsome. Come here, give us a kiss.” Then, switching to a deeper voice, he added, “Hey baby, what’s happening?” He was quite lively and energetic.
