She recounted that this individual had expressed interest in meeting her, but Raja Kumari disclosed her ambition to break into Bollywood and create powerful anthems. She recollected him bluntly stating, “However, can you sing for the song? You’re a woman; the main character is a man.” This comment left her taken aback, and the incident remained etched in her memory.

Later on, Raja Kumari discussed her singing in Jawan and mentioned that it was Shah Rukh Khan who selected her. She expressed, “Only someone like Shah Rukh Khan could create such an empowering film and pick a female voice for its theme song.
