Stellar Blade PC Is Not Available in 129 Countries, And Dev Shift Up Didn’t Seem to Know

When Stellar Blade launches on PC next month, you won’t need a PSN account, as Sony has updated their policy. However, if you choose to link your username, you can earn an extra outfit for the character Eve, but it’s entirely optional and not compulsory at all.

Countries blocked from buying the game include Egypt, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

It appears that Korean developer Shift Up may have been unaware of these restrictions, as evidenced by their response to some affected customers on X (or Twitter). Instead of addressing the issue directly, they expressed shock and sadness using emojis and inquired about the customers’ locations.

It seems that supporters are displeased because the game employs Denuvo, an anti-piracy software, which is frequently criticized for potentially slowing down the speed of PC games.

According to a representative from Shift Up, you won’t notice any decrease in performance because of Digital Rights Management (DRM). Even on less powerful systems, you can still experience the game in high quality!

The game’s PC release is anticipated by Shift Up to surpass the sales of its PS5 version in the long run, based on their initial assessments. So far, it’s showing promising signs as it quickly climbed the Steam pre-order ranks. However, there are a few challenges that need to be addressed before its launch on June 11th.
