Abhijeet Sawant openly discussed his feelings of insecurity, his path into playback singing, and much more during his conversation with Hindi Rush. It was then that he confessed experiencing anxiety following his victory on the popular singing competition show. Known for his hit song “Mar Jaavan Mit Jaavan,” Sawant admitted that after appearing on the widely-watched TV program, he believed his life would undergo a complete transformation and things would get better.
According to Sawant, it was a time when popular Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan were visiting and interacting with me. One of those times, Shah Rukh Khan personally came to see me. He was incredibly kind. On one occasion, he invited me to perform on his show and even announced my name publicly himself.

Abhijeet expressed that the admiration and regard shown towards him was something he found difficult to sustain, and this is what he feels remorseful about. Delving further into the matter, the singer admitted that things didn’t remain as they once were. Consequently, whenever he encounters “Khaan Saab” now, he plans to simply greet with a casual “Hi and hello,” due to the deep-rooted friendship they share beyond their professional relationship.
The Tum Ho Nazmm Hamaarii playback singer expressed his view that in order to maintain the impact made on such a renowned figure, one must persistently work diligently.
On the professional side of Shah Rukh Khan, also known as the Romance King, he’ll appear next in a movie titled “King”, directed by Siddharth Anand. This film features a star-studded cast including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
