A multitude of enthusiasts are convinced that GTA 6, upon release, will represent a groundbreaking open-world gaming experience for generations to come. The visuals suggest cutting-edge technology, and the tantalizing glimpses from trailers have sparked anticipation for a future gameplay unveiling. Here’s hoping that the recent delay was its final one, allowing fans to finally witness the true potential of this highly anticipated game.
Regardless of the excitement surrounding the game, we find ourselves yearning for a touch more from this new release. While it’s well-known that Rockstar will undoubtedly pour all their resources into this project, there’s a slim possibility that it might simply be another standard Grand Theft Auto game. It appears visually stunning, but it doesn’t seem poised to push the boundaries of the open-world genre.
So, here are some mechanics and features that we want to see return or make their debut in GTA 6.
Robberies
Previously, we proposed an idea for enhancing this game – the inclusion of robberies. The prospect of conducting daytime bank heists and nighttime house robberies of criminal establishments seems like a winning strategy. Although this element isn’t entirely novel, as San Andreas included stealth missions where players could steal from others, it would be exciting to reintroduce it in our game.
Multiple Endings

Similar to the previous three installments of GTA, Grand Theft Auto 6 could gain more play value with multiple conclusions. This isn’t difficult, as players can save their progress at various points to achieve them all. It’s plausible that characters like Jason and Lucia might choose to betray each other or work together despite adversity, creating an interesting twist.
Wacky Vehicles
Although the series has been focusing on realism recently, there’s an expectation that the upcoming installment might introduce some unusual vehicles for players to manipulate. Many enthusiasts fondly recall the excitement of using a jetpack in numerous titles, and we’re hoping for a similar experience here. While previous games allowed you to eliminate anyone at will, incorporating a jetpack or something unconventional like a UFO spaceship as a rideable vehicle would undoubtedly add an extra dose of fun.
Cheat Codes
Longing for a blast from the past, there’s a widespread desire to bring back the elusive cheat codes in GTA 6. Cheats, sadly absent since the era of sixth-generation games, were instrumental in fueling our creativity as players. Imagine the thrill of conjuring up a tank at will before unleashing chaos on the virtual world!
Improved Melee Combat
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the improved shooting perspective in GTA games. Now, let’s take it a step further and enhance the melee combat. While it’s been serviceable up until now, it hasn’t quite packed the punch we crave for. I’m not asking for Arkham-style combat, but something that gets us pumped about landing those brutal punches and kicks would be fantastic!
Here’s what we’re currently hoping to see in Grand Theft Auto 6, though there might be more surprises from Rockstar Games. For now, let’s keep our fingers crossed that these features will indeed make an appearance in the upcoming title.
