By this coming weekend, according to predictions as of Saturday morning, the movie “Hurry Up Tomorrow” is expected to gross between $3 million and $3.6 million over its first three days at the domestic box office, landing it at position 6. This initial earnings will only recover around 20% of its reported budget of $15 million. Considering that films typically need to earn back 2.5 times their budgets in theaters to turn a profit, this suggests that its potential break-even point might reach as high as $37.5 million, a figure it appears very doubtful it will achieve given such a modest start.
