Tyler, the Creator and Converse Are Back With an Archival Sneaker Line

Summary

  • Tyler, the Creator has reunited with Converse for an archive-inspired footwear collection titled “1908.”
  • The line debuts with two models: the Naut-1 and the Coach Jogger.
  • The collection drops on June 20.

Following numerous popular collaborations between GOLF le FLEUR and Tyler, the Creator, they are reuniting to create a new line of shoes for Converse: the “1908” collection. This collection features classic shoe designs from Converse’s history (the brand was established in 1908) that have been reimagined with Tyler’s unique sense of humor and creativity.

This collection introduces two designs: the Naut-1, initially launched as a lifestyle model in 1971, and the Coach Jogger, first presented to the public in 1976 as an Olympic track shoe. The Naut-1 has been reimagined with a chic twist inspired by traditional boat shoes, while the Coach Jogger draws inspiration from iconic low-profile sneakers of the 1970s and ’80s.
