Kid Cudi Testifies About Porsche Bombing, L.A. Home Break-In He Says Sean “Diddy” Combs Was Behind

On Thursday, musician-actor Kid Cudi asserted that business magnate Sean “Diddy” Combs may have been responsible for bombing his Porsche in 2012, and he claimed that Diddy had entered his Los Angeles residence after discovering that both men were dating R&B singer Cassie Ventura.

On Thursday, musician Kid Cudi, known as Scott Mescudi in real life, testified at the trial of Sean Combs, who stands accused in Manhattan for allegedly operating a criminal enterprise that involved trafficking women for sexual purposes and racketeering. The defense team claims that they are working to clear Combs from charges brought forth by federal prosecutors who assert that he used this enterprise as a means to abuse and exploit multiple women, maintain his reputation, and hide his actions. The allegations against Combs include sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice, and other serious crimes. However, Combs has pleaded not guilty, maintaining his innocence regarding all the charges he faces.

The prosecution summoned Mescudi as they aimed to demonstrate to the jury how Combs allegedly manipulated his employees for controlling purposes, and utilized his wealth and business clout to orchestrate a violent assault. Donning a black leather jacket and white t-shirt, the rapper testified in court about his acquaintance with Ventura, who was once under Combs’ Bad Boy Records label, having met her in 2008 and forming friendship until they started dating in 2011; he claimed that she had given him the impression that her relationship with Combs had ended. In December of that year, Mescudi received a call from Combs’ assistant, Clark, who disclosed that Combs was at his Hollywood Hills residence with an accomplice and was forced to accompany them.

Initially, he stated that he chose to drive back home, during which he contacted Combs over the phone. Combs responded calmly, saying “I need to speak with you,” but upon reaching home, there was no sign of Combs. Strangely, Christmas gifts left unattended were opened, and their dog, allowed to roam around the house, was confined inside the bathroom. Mescudi then testified that he phoned the police to report a burglary.

In January 2012, approximately weeks had passed, and Mescudi found himself at a friend’s house. Suddenly, he got a call from his dog sitter reporting that his Porsche 911 was ablaze in his driveway. Photos of a cut in the roof fabric of the sports car were presented to the court. The rapper testified that an explosive device resembling a Molotov cocktail was found in the front seat of the Porsche, which sustained severe damage as a result of the incident.

Last week, Ventura testified in court that Combs had made threats against Mescudi, saying he would destroy Mescudi’s car with a bomb and harm him physically when he discovered their romantic relationship. The day following the bombing of Mescudi’s Porsche in his driveway, Mescudi chose to meet with Combs in an attempt to resolve the situation peacefully.

Following that blaze, I found myself thinking, ‘This situation’s spiraling. I gotta chat this up with him.’ That’s what I shared in court, but he firmly dismissed any role in it.

Cudi inquired about his car issue with Combs, who later testified. Combs, in response, seemed uninterested and stated that he had no idea what Cudi was referring to.

Later on, Mescudi remarked, “I believed there was his involvement,” but this statement was advised for jurors to ignore following objections from Combs’ legal team regarding the comment.

Some time later, he testified in court that Mescudi encountered Combs at a hotel. During their conversation, Combs expressed regret “for everything,” without explicitly referring to the incident involving his vehicle.

During the questioning of Mescudi, defense attorney Brian Steel portrayed Ventura as someone who simultaneously pursued two romantic relationships – both with Mescudi and Combs, suggesting she led a secretive life involving both men. Last week, Ventura admitted that she was still having “freak-offs” with Combs while using a secondary phone for her connection with Mescudi.

Steel inquired if it was accurate that Ms. Ventura led two distinct lifestyles, to which he responded affirmatively, explaining that he was disheartened to discover she had opted to return to Combs.

“Yes,” Mescudi replied.

Steel inquired whether Mescudi knew about the discovery of female DNA on his damaged Porsche during the police probe of the event. However, Mescudi testified that he hadn’t learned anything related to the results of the police investigation concerning the incident.
