Donald Trump intends to grant complete clemencies to reality television personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were previously incarcerated due to convictions related to bank fraud and tax evasion offenses at the federal level.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’d say: “Hey there! On Tuesday, I shared some exciting news – straight from the Oval Office, no less! In a heartwarming video call, President Trump chatted with Savannah and Grayson Chrisley, the adorable kids of Todd and Julie. It was a unique moment that brought a smile to many faces.
It’s fantastic news since they’ll have time for themselves and be able to relax, and I’d love if we could make it happen by tomorrow. Sounds good to you guys? Also, tell them I say hi when you see them.” [While sitting in the Oval Office as a gamer]

Harrison Fields, serving as deputy press secretary and special advisor to the President, affirmed President Trump’s intention to grant clemency to the Chrisleys, as reported to The Hollywood Reporter.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: “The President is always thrilled to offer a fresh start to deserving citizens, especially those who’ve been wrongfully accused and excessively penalized by an unjust legal system.” Trump personally called Savannah and her brother from the Oval Office to share the news that he’d be granting clemency to their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, whose sentences were deemed too severe.
In June 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted on federal charges involving bank fraud and tax evasion. They were subsequently sentenced in November of the same year. Todd received a sentence of 12 years in prison followed by 16 months of probation, while Julie Chrisley was given a sentence of seven years in prison and 16 months of probation. At present, they are both serving their respective sentences.
The Chrisley family gained notoriety primarily through their USA Network show “Chrisley Knows Best“, which highlighted their family members including Todd, Julie, their daughters Savannah and Chloe (adopted daughter of their eldest son Kyle), their sons Chase and Grayson.
After their incarceration, Savannah took on guardianship of both Grayson and Chloe. She has been relentlessly advocating for a presidential pardon to release her imprisoned parents. At the 2024 Republican National Convention, she publicly stated that due to their high-profile status and conservative values, they were falsely accused of fraud, when in fact they had been swindled by an unscrupulous business associate.

With her parents serving time, Savannah took charge of Grayson and Chloe. She has been working tirelessly to secure a presidential pardon for their release. At the 2024 Republican National Convention, she expressed that due to their prominence and conservative beliefs, they were falsely accused of fraud, as it was actually a dishonest business partner who defrauded them.
A week after the news about the Chrisley family’s reality TV comeback from Lifetime, I can hardly contain my excitement! The upcoming show, The Untitled Chrisleys Project, promises an exclusive peek into their lives like never before. It’s going to offer a unique, intimate, and dramatic glimpse as they grant us unprecedented access to their personal journey.
Significantly, Chase and Savannah share executive producer roles for the upcoming series produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, known for creating shows like ‘Surviving R. Kelly’, ‘The Life & Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson’ and ‘Confessions of Octomom’.
