Scott Cooper to Write, Direct Crime Drama for United Artists, Scott Stuber (Exclusive)

Scott Cooper might be finalizing his Bruce Springsteen biographical movie titled “Deliver Me from Nowhere“, yet he’s already contemplating potential projects for his next film.

Collaboratively with Amazon MGM Studios’ United Artists and their head Scott Stuber, Cooper has sealed a contract to create, direct, and oversee production on an unnamed crime drama. Together with Stuber and Nick Nesbitt from UA, Cooper will serve as the producer for this project.

Project details are under wraps, but it is understood to be a contemporary crime two-hander.

On October 24th, the much-anticipated movie titled “Deliver Me from Nowhere” will hit the screens, marking Jeremy Allen White’s most significant cinematic role to date. The actor has gained widespread acclaim due to his two Emmy victories for his exceptional performance in FX’s The Bear.

This spring, the Springsteen film generated buzz at CinemaCon, a major industry event. Among the noise of expensive blockbusters, it stood out as a potential award-winning film with mass appeal.
