Fifteen Eleven Reimagines the Porsche 914 With 400 HP Motorsport Makeover

Summary

  • Modernized Porsche 914 debuts with up to 400 hp
  • Features 6-speed manual and rally-spec suspension
  • Now available for test drives in the US and Europe

Fifteen Eleven Design has introduced a groundbreaking reinvention of the iconic Porsche 914. This once modest mid-engine Targa model has been upgraded into an ultra-performance restomod, boasting impressive racing credentials. You can now experience this revamped 914 at HK Motorcars in the US and Fifteen Eleven’s EU website. This reborn vehicle combines a classic design with modern engineering technology.

Beneath the carbon fiber exterior lies an engine from the 987 series, customized to generate around 400 horsepower based on the setup. Customers can opt for either a 3.8L or a race-optimized 4L engine, equipped with forged pistons, steel components, and Life Racing electronics. The power transmission is ensured by a six-speed manual gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by Reiger coilovers, a technology often found in World Rally Championship cars. This setup includes a redesigned chassis with T45 tubular reinforcements and Brembo brakes for robust stopping power suitable for track use.

This design pays homage to Porsche’s racing heritage by featuring “Moby Dick”-esque headlights, an assertive rear spoiler (similar to a ducktail), and personalized 18-inch Fikse Fuchs wheels. The cabin boasts a custom leather and Alcantara upholstery, race-inspired bucket seats, and a redesigned partition for enhanced legroom. Approximately 50 units will be produced, with the possibility of exclusive one-off collaborations.
