As a passionate admirer, I’m thrilled to share that London independent artist Mr. Bailey is extending his collaboration with adidas, after unveiling a series of futuristic sneakers that have been causing quite a stir. Last year, Mr. Bailey unveiled his latest sneaker design in partnership with CONCEPT(K), and this summer, he’s kicking off the season with an all-black ARUKU YAGI.
Despite limited information about its launch, Mr. Bailey’s ARUKU YAGI collaboration brings a revamped edition of the iconic chunky runner. The design boasts a shadowy aesthetic, enhanced by lightweight mesh upper sections and discreet three-stripes logos on the sides. The bold addition of double-reinforced mudguards and raised rear badges lends an avant-garde edge, while the use of toggled laces, substantial BOOST mid soles, and rugged trail out soles adds a final touch in matte black.
The exact launch date for Mr. Bailey’s adidas ARUKU YAGI hasn’t been unveiled yet, but keep an eye out as they’re expected to hit the market within a few months. For now, here’s a sneak peek at the pair shown above. We’ll be sharing more details about the release in due course, so stay tuned!
