Cinespia Unveils August Lineup With ‘Point Break,’ ‘Psycho,’ ‘Zoolander’ and Full Moon Slumber Party

Cinespia has finalized its August lineup.

The outdoor movie series that’s known for taking place at Hollywood Forever Cemetery (produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video) has scheduled screenings of Kathryn Bigelow’s “Point Break” starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze on August 2. On August 9, they have a full moon sleepover event with a double feature including Joel Schumacher’s vampire thriller “The Lost Boys”, featuring Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman and Jami Gertz, as well as John Landis’ horror film “An American Werewolf in London”. On August 16, they will screen Ben Stiller’s comedy “Zoolander” starring the actor alongside Owen Wilson. Lastly, on August 23, they have scheduled Alfred Hitchcock’s classic slasher movie “Psycho”, featuring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh and Vera Miles.

On August 24th, another movie event is anticipated. As usual, music will be provided by Cinespia DJs before and following each screening. Other features include a free photo booth, beer and wine bars, concession stands, and much more. For the spine-tingling vampire and werewolf double bill, attendees are invited to bring blankets and dress up according to the night’s theme.
