McLaren Offers Ultra-Rare Chance to Own a 2027 Le Mans Hypercar

Summary

  • McLaren offers exclusive 2027 Le Mans Hypercar ownership
  • Includes two-year global track program and factory support
  • Customers gain insider access to McLaren’s WEC campaign

McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing have introduced Project: Endurance, an exclusive collaboration opportunity for a limited number of individuals to acquire a 2027 McLaren Le Mans Hypercar.

In simpler terms, they are offering a select group the chance to purchase a 2027 McLaren race car designed for the iconic Le Mans event.

In collaboration with the factory LMDh car designed for competition in the FIA World Endurance Championship, a customer Hypercar is being developed. This racing vehicle will boast a rear-wheel-drive system and a V6 twin-turbo hybrid engine, jointly built with Dallara. A limited production run is planned for these genuine racecars.

Instead of focusing solely on ownership, Project: Endurance emphasizes putting customers at the core of McLaren’s revival in endurance racing. Participants will be granted extensive, all-access passes to testing, development, and competition events, effectively making them a vital part of McLaren’s quest to achieve motorsport’s Triple Crown in one season: Le Mans, Monaco, and the Indy 500.

The program offers a two-year worldwide tour, providing access to elite racetracks, tailored guidance, and comprehensive pit assistance. Owners can learn and race alongside McLaren’s professional team, experiencing the authentic life of a factory driver.

According to McLaren CEO Nick Collins, this exceptional chance significantly enhances the McLaren-customer relationship by offering a unique perspective. McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown further explained that it’s an opportunity to be part of the thrill – and even own a genuine racing vehicle.
