At present, Universal has disclosed information for three out of eight haunted houses, but we’ll keep this list updated as new details emerge about Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Hollywood. Here’s what we currently know.

Jason Un1v3rse – Haunted House

Get ready, because the infamous horror figure, Jason Voorhees, is on his way! This haunted house experience is modeled after the classic slasher series, Friday the 13th. As you venture through, you’ll embark on a ‘revenge tour’ of a summer camp setting. You’ll visit places significant to Jason, such as his dilapidated cabin with its ominous creaks and the decrepit main lodge. The chilling forest, where no one is safe from Jason’s victims, completes this spine-tingling journey.

On a chilling Friday the 13th in June, Universal unveiled intricate details about Jason Un1v3rse, a revelation that sent shivers down our spines. From movie-worthy sets to meticulously designed costumes, and a smorgasbord of mysterious scenes, it’s clear this won’t be an easy stroll.

Five Nights at Freddy’s – Haunted House

As a gamer, I can’t help but appreciate the chilling allure of decaying animatronic mascots, especially when it comes to crafting spine-tingling tales and experiences like haunted houses. It’s no secret that Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and their spooky crew from Five Nights At Freddy’s have been possessing my nightmares for quite some time now. But That’s right; they’re going to leap out at unsuspecting fans, giving us all a chance to encounter them up close and personal in the most terrifying way possible.

As per the official Halloween Horror Nights account on X, Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) is promised to be presented in a fresh and innovative manner. We can hardly contain our excitement as we ponder how characters like Freddy Fazbear will disrupt our world, even more so with a new Five Nights at Freddy’s movie scheduled for release on December 5.

Originally introduced as a video game in 2014 by Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy’s quickly grew beyond games into books, merchandise, multiple game sequels, and a live-action movie titled “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (2023), now available on Peacock. Once more partnering with Universal and Blumhouse Productions, the sequel, “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2”, is scheduled to premiere a month after Halloween Horror Nights concludes, ensuring a continuation of the frightful entertainment throughout the holiday season.

Fallout – Haunted House

Visitors seeking a thrilling post-apocalyptic experience will find themselves perfectly suited at the Fallout Haunted House, an eerie replica of Los Angeles in 2287, two centuries from now. Drawing inspiration from the beloved video game franchise and its upcoming 2024 TV series adaptation by Jonathan Nolan (Westworld, The Dark Knight trilogy), this haunted attraction is poised to deliver a dystopian spectacle of macabre charm.

In a grim turn of events, civilization was annihilated by a devastating nuclear conflict. Those fortunate enough to survive the radioactive aftermath took refuge in subterranean sanctuaries called Vaults, where humans have persisted for multiple generations. Above ground lies a desolate, irradiated landscape, inhabited by grotesque mutations of animals and other creatures that now rule this scorched wasteland.

The adventure begins deep within Vault 33, where guests join Lucy MacLean, a vault-dweller, on her escape from a brutal massacre. Unveiling a sinister hidden truth is just the beginning, as visitors then move to the surface. There, they must evade assaults from desperate Scavengers and Raiders who will go to any length to survive. Additionally, they’ll encounter mutated cockroaches, known as RAD Roaches, according to a press release from Universal.

On your journey, you’ll face off against the powerful bounty hunter known as The Ghoul, and meet up with Maximus from the Brotherhood of Steel along the way.

Monstruos 3 – Haunted House

Originally conceived as a Scare Zone, it has since transformed into not just one, but now three, breathtakingly scary haunted houses, each dedicated to some of the most terrifying entities from Latin American folklore. These mythical creatures and spirits will make an appearance in the Monstruos 3 haunted house, making its exclusive debut at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The house will highlight three renowned supernatural figures: “The Weeping Woman” (also known as La Llorona, a well-known figure in many Latin American countries), “The Bone Woman” (La Muelona, a mythical flesh-eater from Colombia), and “The Horse-faced Entity” (La Siguanaba, a terrifying being from El Salvadoran folklore).

Terror Tram

At Universal Studios, hopping on the Terror Tram isn’t about unwinding after exploring the haunted houses. Instead, it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind backlot experience that matches up with their renowned Scare Zones. Last year, characters from films like M3GAN, Happy Death Day, The Purge, and other Blumhouse Productions movies took control of the tram. As for this year, Universal has hinted that the attraction is set to take a chilling new direction, but specifics are still under wraps.

At Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando, you’ll discover Halloween Horror Nights – a thrilling event that requires its own ticket. For detailed information on the Halloween Horror Nights schedule or to purchase your tickets, simply visit our website.
