BTS Slate Spring 2026 Return With New Music and World Tour

As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to bits! The legendary, chart-dominating K-pop sensation BTS has finally unveiled their eagerly anticipated comeback plans.

On Tuesday, a seven-member group, marking their first broadcast together in almost three years, used the Hybe-owned Weverse fan platform for a live stream. During the session, they revealed their plans for when they return from military service. BTS shared with fans that they will be traveling to the United States this month to start creating new music, which is expected to be released in spring 2026.

The BTS group has announced they’ll unveil a fresh album in the spring of the coming year. Come July, the entire team will collaborate intensely to create this new music, as it is a collective effort. Given that this is a group album, it will embody the thoughts and creative input from each member. They plan to approach the album with the same spirit they had when they initially started out.

This supergroup has shared plans for a global tour next year, marking their first since the highly successful post-pandemic series of shows called BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage. As stated in a press release, these events attracted a massive audience of 4 million attendees and viewers through live concerts, online streaming, live viewings, and playbacks.

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I can’t wait to connect with gamers from every corner of the globe! Here’s hoping you share my excitement too!

It appears that BTS members are carrying on with their previously arranged solo projects until 2026. For instance, Jin’s solo tour, which took place in Goyang, South Korea on June 28 and 29, is still ongoing. Next up, J-Hope, who has just concluded his own solo tour, will headline Lollapalooza Berlin later this month.

Last month, all BTS members gathered together for the first time since 2022 at the final show of J-Hope’s solo concert in Goyang, South Korea. This reunion wrapped up a hectic week for the band, as RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook finished their mandatory military service earlier in the week, joining previously discharged members J-Hope and Jin. The following week, Suga completed his military service as social work personnel, thereby marking the official resumption of active duties for the group.

Fans of BTS have eagerly anticipated their comeback for quite some time, even as each band member accomplished solo projects during their two-year enlistment. In October 2022, BTS put on a massive free show in Busan, South Korea, called “Yet to Come.” This concert was part of Busan’s bid for the 2030 World Expo and attracted ARMY from all over the globe. Just days after the performance, BigHit Music announced that all seven members would be embarking on their military service, expressing that it was an ideal moment to do so and that they were privileged to serve.

On Tuesday, BTS held their first livestream since September 2022, and it attracted more than 7.3 million live viewers, as stated in an official update. However, specific details about the release or upcoming tour dates are not available at this time.
