FX’s Adults Hasn’t Been Renewed Yet But One Star Has A Great Idea For A Season 2 Plot – And It Has Whiskers

What’s the most challenging ordeal you’ve faced while sharing living space with roommates? FX on Hulu’s Adults provides numerous instances, but star Malik Elassal proposes an even more appalling sequel concept for Season 2, should it be approved – and this entails tiny, adorable (or potentially fear-inducing) creatures.

If the show were to go on,” Elassal said, “the best thing for the roommates would be a hilarious turn of events, maybe an unexpected inheritance or a wild vacation. But the worst? Definitely a visit from their long-lost, overbearing relatives!

Oh man: mice.

Oh dear, I had already wrinkled my nose in distaste. Elassal went on to say that it would be hilarious because someone introduced the rodent into the scene, making the comedy an ongoing mystery of who did it, as he put it.

I find it intriguing to consider adding this particular aspect. The presence of a mouse in the home can evoke a mysterious, otherworldly sensation – you catch yourself wondering, “What was that?” It seems as if something unfamiliar has invaded your space, yet it’s not directly connected to anyone living there. In a sense, it’s like an unsolved mystery – who brought the mouse into the house? So, it would make for an entertaining detective-like situation, don’t you think?

Although I had not imagined real-life mice scampering in a home as an exciting element for top horror series, it’s definitely a scenario I wouldn’t be surprised to find listed on a bingo card now. Frankly, I get why people might feel that way.

Instead of residing in New York City, this collective can be found within the borough of Queens. It wouldn’t shock me at all if rodents managed to sneak indoors following someone forgetting to put away an unused pizza on the counter.

This show is laugh-out-loud hilarious in every aspect. As a member of Gen Z who often feels clueless, I found myself giggling frequently, even snorting at times. The series is absolutely ridiculous, but in the most entertaining way possible. And let’s be honest, adding mice to the mix could only make it more delightful.

Observe Malik Elassal, who appears rather timid or small in a slightly too large suit, during the memorable sixth episode of the series.

Following eight episodes filled with sheer pandemonium, featuring an amusing guest performance by Charlie Cox, I’m eagerly anticipating Season 2 of “Adults“. It could become even more thrilling, mind-blowing, and leave audiences rolling in laughter just as it did for me. Although a probable Season 2 isn’t slated for any 2025 TV lineup, I can at least harbor hopes that we might see something within the next year or so.

Until its return, I’ll reminisce by rewatching this series, chuckling to myself – envisioning poor Antone’s reaction if he found a mouse in his home. The thought of his terrified screams and frantic pointing has me grinning ear-to-ear. Gosh, FX, hurry up and renew it already! We crave more of this show in our daily lives.
