Kelly Clarkson Postpones Opening Night of Las Vegas Residency Shortly Before Showtime

Kelly Clarkson delayed the start of her Las Vegas residency‘s opening performance, which was originally scheduled for this coming Friday evening.

The musician-composer announced on Instagram that the show would be rescheduled due to some troubles with his voice.

She shared in a recent update that she’s been tirelessly working day and night to ensure Studio Sessions becomes an unforgettable, personal event for her amazing fans. Unfortunately, she needs to postpone tonight’s and tomorrow’s opening at Caesars due to the toll rehearsals have taken on her voice.

The winner of “American Idol” went on to say, “I’m aiming for these shows to be phenomenal for you, and I need to ensure I don’t overexert myself before we kick things off in a big way. So, I’ll be taking this coming weekend and the following week to recharge. We want to give you the best, and let me tell you, this show is exceptional! The musicians and vocalists are simply amazing, and I can’t wait for us all to get started on a high note.

Clarkson postponed the show’s performance for both Friday and Saturday. However, she expressed her excitement in closing remarks, mentioning her eagerness to return the following weekend and share with everyone the projects they’ve been developing.

Prior to the announcement, she shared a picture of herself practicing on stage, which was a hint at the upcoming event. On Instagram, she captioned it as, “Tonight!! #OpeningNight #StudioSessions #VegasRehearsals.

This year in February, it was revealed that Kelly Clarkson would be holding a Las Vegas residency titled “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions.” The entire residency, which includes 18 unique shows, was scheduled to take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and run up until mid-November.
