Lorde opens this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 2 with Virgin.
In her most recent studio project, Lorde’s sales figures amount to a total of 71,000 album units. This is made up of 42,000 physical albums sold, 37.07 million on-demand song streams equating to 29,000 streaming equivalent album units, and the remainder in track equivalent album units. Previously, Virgin has placed among her top 10 hits, following the releases of Solar Power in 2021, Melodrama in 2017 and Pure Heroine in 2013.
Other new appearances this week are KATSEYE with BEAUTIFUL CHAOS at No. 4 and Russ’ W!LD at No. 10.
For the remainder of this week’s top 10 chart, Morgan Wallen holds the first position, followed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack at third place and Karol G at fifth. The second half includes Wallen again at sixth, SZA at seventh, Playboi Carti at eighth, and Sabrina Carpenter rounds it off at ninth.
After Morgan Wallen at No. 1 and the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack at No. 3, we have Karol G at No. 5. The rest of the top 10 includes Morgan Wallen again at No. 6, SZA at No. 7, Playboi Carti at No. 8 and Sabrina Carpenter at No. 9.
