A Bachelor Nation Expert Created An A.I. Country Music Album About The Show, And I'm Flabbergasted By How Good It Is

As a seasoned Bachelor Nation fan with over two decades of watching roses blossom and hearts shatter, I must say that Chad Kultgen’s album “For The Right Reasons” has become the soundtrack to my life (and maybe even my love life, if we’re being honest). As a host of the popular podcast “Game of Roses,” it was only fitting for this Bachelor expert to create an eight-song masterpiece that encapsulates every aspect of the show we all know and love.

Whenever a fresh Bachelor Nation reality dating series airs on TV, there’s a particular set of phrases that devoted fans of “The Bachelor” are accustomed to. Phrases such as “Fantasy Suites” and someone being “there for the wrong reasons” have been recurrent since the show first aired in 2002. Now, one expert on “The Bachelor” has repurposed these well-known expressions and concepts into a country music album with the aid of A.I., and as an ardent fan of “The Bachelor,” I am astonished at how enjoyable this music proves to be.

Chad Kultgen, along with Lizzy Pace, conducts the podcast “Game of Roses,” which focuses on “The Bachelor.” They’ve also written a book titled “How to Win The Bachelor,” demonstrating their expertise in the subject matter. As Chad K, Kultgen has produced an eight-track album called “For The Right Reasons” using artificial intelligence. Here’s why every member of Bachelor Nation should check it out right away.

If You Love The Bachelor, These Songs Will Resonate With You

If you’re just as enthusiastic about “The Bachelor” as I am, the album title “For The Right Reasons” should immediately give you an idea of its content, and the title track is one of my favorites. Interestingly, each song in the album touches upon a unique aspect of the show we both love.

  • “First Impressions”: All about getting that first impression rose on Night 1, baby.
  • “I’m Not Here To Make Friends”: Spoken by every villain ever.
  • “Can I Steal You”: A common cocktail party question sure to get tempers flaring.
  • “Goodbye”: That moment when Jesse Palmer asks you to take a moment and say your goodbyes.
  • “Hometown”: Time to meet the families!
  • “How Could You (Make Love To Me)[Nick’s Song]”: A hilarious reference to Nick Viall’s question to Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette Season 10 finale.
  • “Fantasy Sweet”: An obvious word play on the all-important overnight dates.

As a long-time fan of reality TV shows, particularly “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”, I can confidently say that this album resonates deeply with me and my fellow Bachelor Nation members. The songs are reminiscent of the high-energy excitement we feel when watching our favorite contestants navigate love and drama on these shows. But let me make it clear, this album is not just for die-hard fans; it has a universal appeal that can be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates catchy tunes and relatable lyrics. In my personal experience, I’ve found that music can bring people together and transcend boundaries, and this album does exactly that. So whether you’re a Bachelor Nation member or not, give this album a listen – I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

For The Right Reasons Is Enjoyable Even If You’re Not A Bachelor Fan

In our home, I’m the one who can’t get enough of reality TV shows, but surprisingly, my family doesn’t mind joining me in listening to “For The Right Reasons.” Using advanced technology, Chad Kultgen skillfully crafted this album, making tunes that sound like they could be top hits on country radio stations today. There’s a mix of country-pop and folk tracks. “Hometown,” for instance, has a strong Toby Keith, Americana feel to it.

When it comes to the song’s words, it’s true that some lines seem to directly reference reality TV (such as “This is all a staged performance for the screen, yet it feels genuine to us viewers,” from “Fantasy Sweet”). Nevertheless, like many songs, their meaning can vary among listeners. In my opinion, a significant portion of the album For The Right Reasons can be related to everyday relationships and situations as well.

It turns out that “For The Right Reasons” refers to Chad Kultgen combining two of his professional fields: his analysis of Bachelor Nation on “Game of Roses,” and co-hosting the AI-focused podcast “Dudesy” alongside Will Sasso from “Young Sheldon.” Notably, “Dudesy” has garnered attention for its A.I.-generated comedy specials mimicking Tom Brady and George Carlin, which sparked criticism from both the retired athlete’s estate and the late comedian’s family. One might wonder if they perceived him as having ulterior motives?

1. Listen to Chad K’s “For The Right Reasons” on your preferred music platform. Don’t forget to tune in to ABC or stream it the day after at 8 p.m. ET every Monday for “The Bachelorette”. On the other hand, “The Golden Bachelorette” will debut at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, September 18.
