As a seasoned collector with years of wristwatch connoisseurship under my belt, I must admit, A. Lange & Söhne’s 30th anniversary tribute to the iconic Lange 1 has left me utterly smitten. The harmonious blend of tradition and innovation in these timepieces resonates deeply with my passion for horology.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Lange 1, A. Lange & Söhne expands its iconic collection by introducing four limited-edition timepieces. These exclusive pieces include two Lange 1 and a pair of Little Lange 1 models, available in two distinct color combinations: platinum with a black onyx dial and pink gold with a blue dial, each matched with alligator leather straps in harmonious shades.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share some details about the captivating Lange 1 models. The case diameter is perfectly sized at 38.5mm, elegantly embellished with two subdials. It boasts an oversized date and power reserve indicator. When fully wound, this masterpiece serves as a reliable timekeeper, running seamlessly for an impressive 72 hours. Its L121.1 Manufacture caliber ticks at a swift pace of 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour.
For the Little Lange 1, the dial design is scaled down to fit a smaller casing of 36.8mm in diameter, similar to its larger version. Like its bigger counterpart, it operates on the manually-wound L121.1 in-house movement, visible through the transparent sapphire caseback.
For every Lange 1 model, only 300 units are produced, while there are 150 individually crafted Little Lange 1 watches. For further information about pricing and availability, please check out A. Lange & Söhne’s official website.
