A New Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Cranes” Is Dropping

As a dedicated sneakerhead and avid follower of Rui Hachimura’s impressive basketball career, I can hardly contain my excitement for his upcoming collaboration with Jordan Brand! Since joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2023, Hachimura has proven himself to be not only a valuable asset on the court but also an innovative force in the world of sneaker design.

Product Name: Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low OG, themed as “Cranes

Since joining the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade back in 2023, Rui Hachimura has been making a significant impact on the team. Simultaneously, he’s maintained a close relationship with Jordan Brand to create distinct colorways for Air Jordans. For instance, he introduced an Air Jordan 38 last year. As we move towards 2025, he plans to revisit the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and release an “Oatmeal” version of his “Cranes” colorway.

It’s been over two years since Hachimura’s black “Cranes” pair first surfaced as a PE alongside the release of a matching take on the Air Jordan 36. Now, we have confirmation that its “Oatmeal”-flavored sequel will be dropping as Nike has unveiled the colorway’s full set of imagery. Again looking to Hachimura’s Japanese heritage, the pair sports both sakura and cranes across its upper, creating a vivid scenery across the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Dark gray Swooshes and a matching heel tab bring heavy contrast to the composition while a golden Swoosh outline and gum outsole round out the pair.

Currently, there’s no official word from Jordan Brand on the release date for Rui Hachimura’s “Cranes” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Keep an eye out for news, as it is anticipated to become available during the upcoming spring season through Nike SNKRS and selected retailers, starting at a price point of $160 USD.
