Indeed, “Death of a Unicorn” isn’t a cryptic art title akin to “The Silence of the Lambs.” Instead, it quite literally tells the story of a deceased unicorn. The film will make its debut at South by Southwest on March 8, 2025, followed by a US theater release on March 28, 2025.

The tale entitled “The Legend of Ochi” revolves around a girl living in a secluded hamlet, warned never to venture out after sunset due to fearsome woodland beings called ochi. However, when she stumbles upon an orphaned baby ochi, the girl embarks on a journey to return it to its kin. This enchanting tale seems reminiscent of “Okja” intertwined with elements of “Gremlins”. The baby ochi resembles Gizmo from the “Gremlins” series. “The Legend of Ochi” marks the feature film debut of Isaiah Saxon, featuring some well-known stars such as Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe, who has garnered attention from A24 productions.
The movie titled “The Legend of Ochi” made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2025. However, its initial release date on February 28, 2025 was postponed due to the devastating wildfires in Southern California that sadly destroyed the director’s home. The new US release date for this film is now set for April 25, 2025. Featuring breathtaking landscapes, stunning cinematography, and meticulously crafted computer-generated imagery, “The Legend of Ochi” promises to be an unforgettable and enchanting journey.

This might seem like a plot for a horror flick, but ‘Friendship’ is actually a comedy. The cast includes Tim Robinson, Paul Rudd, and Kate Mara, with Andrew DeYoung making his directorial debut. Although the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024, it won’t hit theaters until May 2025.

Just like Timothée Chalamet’s previous movie, “Marty Supreme” is scheduled for release on Christmas and is likely to generate a lot of attention from the Oscars as we approach 2026.

The movie titled “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,” which had its debut at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and is vying for the prestigious Golden Bear award at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, doesn’t yet have a confirmed domestic release date by A24.
