During an event unveiling these details, Khan reminisced about his career journey with the press, disclosing that he was involved in Yash Chopra’s film Darr. Unfortunately, certain circumstances forced him to leave the project team.
The role of Rahul Mehra in the psychological thriller movie was later presented to Shah Rukh Khan, who delivered a remarkable performance. Regarding SRK’s acting, Aamir commented that he still believes the circumstances led to something positive. To support his claim, Aamir pointed out that Shah Rukh effectively portrayed the emotions and the essence that Yash Chopra aimed to convey in the film.
He commented, “Shah Rukh seemed more fitting for that role’s rhythm. Looking back, I feel that if I had played the character, it might have given a different impression.
