Actor Aamir Khan, renowned for his exceptional acting abilities, versatility, and meticulous attention to detail, is consistently open about his opinions. Lately, this skilled performer looked back on his first movie role, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, and admitted that he felt uncomfortable in certain scenes where he appeared awkward and unrefined. However, he also complimented his co-star Juhi Chawla for her outstanding performance during the film.
Aamir Khan recently attended the premiere of his son Junaid Khan’s second movie, “Loveyapa”, which also stars Khushi Kapoor. This event took place at the same location where Aamir first appeared on the big screen. As a result, he had the opportunity to express his thoughts about his performance in “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” (1988), the film where he made his debut.
In the movie Dangal, the actor confessed that he wasn’t completely satisfied with his acting throughout the film. While he appreciated his performance in certain scenes and songs, he believed that his portrayal seemed unpolished and uncomfortable at times on the big screen.
He expressed that he felt his performances often seemed inadequate, as there were certain scenes where he excelled significantly, such as specific song sequences. However, there were other instances that consistently frustrated him, which, as an actor, he never found enjoyable. In summary, he didn’t derive pleasure from the entire experience.
Instead, he appreciated Juhi Chawla’s acting performance and saw similarities in their work. Impressed by her skills, the actor believed she excelled in her role, appearing refined and poised, demonstrating control over her facial expressions and line deliveries.
In the movie, Juhi delivered an exceptionally well-polished performance, whereas I spoke my lines swiftly.
Although he initially felt unhappy about it, Aamir Khan was grateful when Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak turned out to be a success, touching people’s hearts. He further emphasized that making mistakes helps in personal growth as an actor, and the younger generation should also learn from their own errors. Instead of being afraid or avoiding them, they should face and overcome their failures.
