Ab-Soul Announces New Mixtape ‘Soul Burger,’ Shares Single “All That”

As a longtime fan of Ab-Soul, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of empathy and admiration for this upcoming project. The loss of Doe Burger must have been a profound blow, but it seems that Soul has channeled that pain into something beautiful and powerful. His music has always had a raw, introspective quality, and I can only imagine the depth of emotion that will be poured into these tracks.

Ab-Soul has unveiled his initial release since 2022, titled “Soul Burger.” This mixtape is dedicated to his childhood best friend, Doe Burger, who tragically passed away in 2021. In the project, Doe Burger acts as a narrator, spurring Ab-Soul on and providing support as he tackles various obstacles.

The recording will consist of the earlier single, titled “Squeeze 1St 2”, along with a fresh track called “All That” which includes Jason Martin (formerly known as Problem) and Thirsty P. This new song was produced by TDE’s Rascal and TaeBeast and was premiered together with its official music video.

In the visual, Soul performs alongside his friends, interspersed with cuts of vintage photography.

He compares himself and his team to a key and a lock, suggesting they fit perfectly together. He requests his keys, implying his means of transportation, and swiftly leaves the area. His enemies flee before he even causes trouble; he’s always on the move, from early morning till late night.
