As a seasoned gamer and an ardent collector of unique memorabilia, particularly items that resonate with my deep-rooted love for football, I must admit that this AC Milan x BE@RBRICK collaboration has truly piqued my interest. Having grown up idolizing the likes of Paolo Maldini, Rino Gattuso, and Zlatan Ibrahimović, it’s heartening to see such a revered club like AC Milan embracing contemporary culture and teaming up with innovative brands like Medicom Toy.
This year, the legendary Italian football club AC Milan is marking its 125th anniversary. As part of the celebrations, they’ve joined forces with Medicom Toy for a heartwarming BE@RBRICK collaboration. The collection comes in three sizes – 100%, 400% and 1000%. The iconic anthropomorphic, potbellied bear has been creatively redesigned as a tribute to the team, making it an essential addition for any devoted Milan fan’s collection.
As a passionate gamer representing AC Milan, I can’t help but feel the fiery spirit of our founding father, Herbert Kilpin. He once declared that we would be a “team of devils,” with colors as intense as the fear we’d instill in our adversaries – red as flames and black as the dread they’d feel facing us. However, our BE@RBRICK design takes a more playful twist on this fearsome legacy.
Beyond the collaboration with Medicom Toy, AC Milan has ventured into culture multiple times before. Off-White™ serves as the club’s style and cultural advisor since 2022. Moreover, Drake and LeBron James have become minority shareholders, while AC Milan has partnered with the New York Yankees to create joint merchandise.
Expect AC Milan’s set of BE@RBRICK figures to release via the club’s webstore in the coming weeks.
