Actress Ellen Barkin Slams Trump, Not Biden, Over Critical Issue

Ellen Barkin hasn’t moved out of the U.S. like Rosie O’Donnell did.

Despite their different backgrounds, the actress from “The Big Easy” and Ireland’s latest celebrity resident share a common trait: they both focus on criticizing President Donald Trump, rather than the country’s most significant story, based on their liberal views.

Earlier this month, O’Donnell made fun of President Trump on social media platforms, implying that his age might be affecting his cognitive abilities.

O’Donnell questioned in his TikTok post, ‘When will people understand that he’s showing signs of cognitive deterioration?’ He seems unable to express clear thoughts or construct sentences properly. Recently, during a speech, he struggled to say the word ‘anonymous.’ There’s definitely something unusual about him.

The conflict between the former “Flintstones” cast member and the President has been a long-standing one, starting during President Trump’s initial term, and it appears that it may continue for some time.

Now, it’s Barkin’s turn.

An uncomfortable truth? For years, the Democratic Party has been accused of concealing signs of cognitive decline similar to dementia in President Joe Biden, which have been widely reported by various news outlets.

In my humble opinion as a film critic of political narratives, the striking similarity between the downfall portrayed in “Original Sin,” penned by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, and the current state of affairs surrounding President Biden is undeniable. This book, much like the headlines today, paints a vivid picture of a former president who, unfortunately, seemed to lack the fitness for duty during his singular term in the Oval Office. The parallels between the book’s narrative and recent events are as stark as the credits rolling on a movie screen.

For about a decade, critics from the Left have made similar criticisms against Biden, much like Trump today continues to speak extensively, sometimes leading to unintended slips or mistakes. However, it’s worth noting that despite being in his late 70s, Trump is remarkably sharp and doesn’t often produce the cringeworthy gaffe reels as frequently as Biden did during his presidency.

Don’t tell that to Barkin.

The seasoned actress has a history of making ill-advised social media comments. At one point, she suggested that Trump could potentially harm six million Jews like Hitler did, advocating for his removal from public life. Additionally, she expressed a desire for comedian Louis C.K. to experience rape and gun violence after he was exposed for inappropriate behavior with women.
