Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong, Anne Hathaway to Star in Crime Film ‘Paper Tiger’ for Director James Gray

As a cinephile who has witnessed the evolution of some truly remarkable careers, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation at the news of James Gray’s upcoming crime drama “Paper Tiger”. The fact that Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong, and Anne Hathaway are on board is already enough to make any movie lover sit up and take notice.


James Gray has lined up an A-list cast for his next feature Paper Tiger.

Actors Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong, and Anne Hathaway are slated to appear in a movie project derived from an original script by Gray. The film, to be handled by Vincent Maraval and Kim Fox’s production company Veterans for international sales rights, will showcase next week at the American Film Market. CAA Media Finance will manage domestic rights.

The Leone Film Group is entirely funding the film that Raffaella Leone is co-producing with Rodrigo Teixeira under RT Features.

Filming for the crime-focused movie starring two brothers will kick off early in 2025. The story revolves around them becoming entangled in a deceptive plot, which ultimately leads them into a dangerous world filled with violence and corruption, where they are targeted by the Russian mafia.

Actor who has been nominated for two Oscars, recently completed filming for the movie “Father, Mother, Sister, Brother,” directed by Jim Jarmusch. Some of his latest projects are “Megalopolis,” “Ferrari,” “65” and “White Noise.

Recently, Gray has been at the helm of the 2022 dramatic film production titled “Armageddon Time,” featuring performances by Hathaway and Strong. Previously, he was responsible for directing “Ad Astra” and “The Lost City of Z.

Hathaway made an appearance in Amazon’s film “The Idea of You” and has upcoming projects such as “Flowervale Street,” “Mother Mary,” and “The Princess Diaries 3.” Meanwhile, Strong gained recognition through “Succession” and recently featured in “The Apprentice,” with plans to star in the Bruce Springsteen biopic titled “Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Gray is associated with CAA and Jackoway Austen, while Driver is linked to MWE and Sloane Offer. Strong has ties with WME, Sugar23, and Hansen Jacobson. Hathaway is affiliated with CAA, Entertainment 360, and Sloane Offer.
