Adobe’s Scott Belsky to Join A24 as Partner

Independent film studio A24, which has won an Oscar, has brought on board Scott Belsky, the former chief strategy officer and executive vice president of design and emerging products at Adobe, to spearhead technological and innovative initiatives.

In March, the businessperson, writer, and inventor will take on a partnership role at the entertainment firm, but they’ll continue serving as an advisor for Adobe.

Following his role in driving crucial projects at Adobe that focused on creating tools for artists, he’ll now focus on enhancing A24’s dedication to filmmakers. This will be achieved by offering them the necessary resources and tools to bring their creative visions to life.

I, too, built Behance – a vibrant hub where over 50 million creative minds share, exhibit, and unearth fresh talents, propelling our careers forward. Later, it became part of the Adobe family.

Over the next few months, I’m planning to change direction and dive headfirst into the rapidly changing realm of filmmaking and storytelling – a long-cherished passion of mine. I’m thrilled about my new role at A24, an independent studio I’ve always admired, where I’ll be taking on a partner position and launching some unique projects. Luckily, I’ll continue to be part of the Adobe family, and I’m eager to collaborate with them in the future as a potential tech partner.

Belsky is a member of Atlassian’s board of directors, and he was one of the initial advisors and investors for companies such as Pinterest, Uber, sweetgreen, Good Inside, and Ramp. This role has led him to champion causes that promote creativity.

He is also the author of the books Making Ideas Happen (2010) and The Messy Middle (2018).
